Andres was elected to the Board of The Ark and The Dove, Inc. in 2017 given his international prominence, multicultural leadership and national and international speaking engagements in the Renewal, especially in the Spanish-speaking Renewal in North, Central and South America (one of the Renewal’s major language groups). Andres’ experience enhances our capacity to coordinate with the Church as the local, diocesan and Vatican levels.

Other Current Renewal and Catholic Apostolate Leadership Positions: Representative for Spanish speakers North America and the Caribbean, CHARIS International Service of Communion, Rome, Italy; Coordinator of CHARIS Continental Service of Communion for the Americas (North, Central, and South America); Ad Hoc Member of CHARIS USA National Service of Communion; and Bishop’s Delegate for Hispanic Ministry and Director of Evangelization for the Diocese of Camden, New Jersey, leading the Secretariat for Evangelization and Multicultural Ministries. 

Past Renewal and Catholic Apostolate Leadership Positions: President of the Latin-American Catholic Charismatic Council (CONCCLAT); Consultant to the USCCB Subcommittee on Hispanic Affairs (two terms); Member of Encuentro National Team of Hispanic/Latino Ministry; and Coordinator of the Hispanic Charismatic Renewal Committee of the US and Canada (two terms).

Personal: Andrés was born in 1976 in Medellin, Colombia. In 1995 he was baptized in the Holy Spirit and since then he has been serving God in different ministries. He married Kathia, and they have actively served in the Hispanic community regionally, nationally, and internationally at the diocesan level as well through the USCCB and the Renewal. They are proud parents of twin daughters. Andrés is the author of the books “Catholic Charismatic Renewal: A Current of Grace”, “Be my Witness” and “Spirituality and Prayer: A Guide to Talk to God and Live Like Jesus. Andrés is multilingual, speaking English and Spanish fluently as well as basic Italian and Portuguese.

Professional: Andres is a Manufacturing Engineer and has a Master’s in Theological Studies.
